Parmesan Crust Potatoes

Introducing Parmesan Crust Potatoes – a delicious dish that’ll have your taste buds doing a happy dance! 🥔🧀

These cheesy potato wonders combine crispy potatoes with a rich crust of salty parmesan – it’s a match made in foodie heaven.

Parmesan crust potatoes put a delightful spin on traditional roasted or mashed potatoes. The idea of coating these spuds with a Parmesan cheese crust likely emerged from a desire to add an extra layer of flavour and a satisfying crunch to our all-time favourite side dish. In that goal they are certainly successful

Now, let’s talk health. While these cheesy taters may not be the epitome of health food, they do offer some nutritional perks. Potatoes are packed with essential nutrients like vitamin C, fibre, and potassium. Plus, the Parmesan cheese brings a dose of calcium and protein to the plate.

Making Parmesan crust potatoes is a breeze. Start by slicing or cubing your potatoes – I’ve used new potatoes but russets or Yukon Golds are excellent choices too. Toss them in olive oil and sprinkle them generously with your preferred herbs and spices. Lay down a bed of grated parmesan and tuck in your potatoes before topping with an extra sprinkle of cheese. Then, roast them in the oven until they turn gloriously golden brown and irresistibly crispy.

Now, the flavour! Get ready for a burst of taste sensations. These potatoes become beautifully crisp on the outside, thanks to that cheesy crust, while maintaining a soft and fluffy interior. The Parmesan cheese introduces a delightful nutty and savoury richness that pairs perfectly with the natural sweetness of the potatoes. It’s a delightful marriage of textures and flavours that’ll leave you craving more.

Parmesan crust potatoes are the ultimate comfort food, ideal as a side dish or even as a satisfying snack. Serve them alongside a succulent steak or relish them all by themselves. These spuds will surely become a fast favourite at your table. So, don’t wait – give them a try and let your taste buds revel in the cheesy, potatoey goodness!
